Kalgoorlie.info is run and maintained by Alex Osk from South Kalgoorlie. It exists to make a visit to Kalgoorlie-Boulder and the wider Goldfields easier to plan: what is worth seeing, what changes with weather or mining operations, which road checks matter, and where an official source should be consulted before travelling.
The main site is an editorial visitor guide. The Local Directory and Marketplace are separate user services. They remain available, but their profiles and listings do not decide what appears in guide search results or editorial recommendations.
How information is researched
Changing facts are checked against the responsible organisation wherever possible. That normally means the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, a venue or event organiser, a WA Government department, Main Roads WA, Emergency WA, the Bureau of Meteorology, or the attraction operator.
